1.Dodgeball 
Dad: Let's play dodgeball J. Do you know this game? 
J: No, I do not know. 
Dad: Ok.  I will  tell you how to play.  I have made some paper balls here. We will each get three. We will try to hit each other with them.But we don't want to get hit.  If we get hit, we lose.  So be very nimble. Do you understand? 
J: Yes, I understand. 
Dad: Great.  Do you want to start the game? Do you remember how? 
J: Yes, 1,  2, 3,  go! 
Dad: Oh no you got me.  Well done,  you won!

2. Do an experiment 
We are  going to do an experiment.Look at the big book. 
Can you tell me what we need? We need a plate,  a candle and a glass.  Yes, you are right.  Let's get all those things. I will tell you how to do this experiment. 
1. Light the candle. 
2. Stick the candle to the plate. We can melt some wax and put the candle on it. Hold it until it is cool. 
3. Put the glass over the candle. 
What happens to the candle? It stops burning. Why does it stop burning? It has no more air.

3.Burn something 
Let's get some things to burn and see what happens. Now we need to be very careful, ok? 
We have some hair, some paper, some cloth and a rock. Let's see if they will burn. 
First let's try the hair. Does the hair burn? Yes it does. 
Let's try the paper.  Does the paper burn? Yes it does. 
Next let's try the cloth. Does that burn? Yes it burns too. 
Now let's try to burn the rock. Does the rock burn? No, the rock does not burn.What else would you like to try? 
Let's get  some leaves and try to burn them.

4.Candle magic 
J, let's do some candle magic. Look at the picture, what do we need? We need a plate, a candle, a glass bottle and some colored water. 
Ok, I will tell you what to do. 
1. Light the candle. 
2.We can melt some wax and put the candle on it. Hold it until it is cool. 
3. Put the colored water on the plate. 
4. Put the bottle over the candle. 
What happens? The water goes up into the bottle. Why does this happen? Because the candle used all of the air in the bottle.
