The Panama canal was one of the most busy canal currently still working. This canal first was found by a Spanish explore in 1500s, and he made a trail to the pacific in this place, and he later build a trail that is muddy and hard to go through. Later during the gold rush in California, there are a rail road that was built, but it was very expensive at that time for the price of 25 dollars for each ride. But there are more crazy ideas and one of them is creating a canal to connect two ends. There are many problem with this. First, there are swamps near the coasts, and then there are the deep jungle, there are mosquitoes and other beasts that is threatening the works’ life. Later on, it’s the tall mountains that separated the land. There are many problems but eventually they success with a lot of trials and errors. When the canal was eventually opened, the money givers, French people earned a lot of profits, and the Americans got a short cut to send their NAVYs faster from East coast to West coast. And this important canal still open to today.?
