這是整個七部曲的內(nèi)容：蠟毛騙影兆讓黑莓星死，死之后他的靈魂應(yīng)該回到身體里面，但是蠟毛的靈魂提前鉆進去了，蠟毛在星族和黑森林中間挖了一條通道，然后填滿藤條，這是為什么巫醫(yī)們聯(lián)系不到星族。莖葉愛斑毛，根泉愛鬃霜，但是根泉在天族，鬃霜在雷族，他們沒法成為伴侶。蠟毛被識破，松鼠飛帶頭反抗，蠟毛愛松鼠飛，但是松鼠飛愛黑莓星，蠟毛三部曲的時候就被冬青葉殺死了，所以松鼠飛甩了蠟毛。蠟毛帶著松鼠飛跑到黑森林，控制住了莖葉等剛死的貓的靈魂，鬃霜、影兆、和根泉來追蠟毛，影兆是巫醫(yī)，戰(zhàn)斗能力不高，被蠟毛囚禁，根泉被打的頭破血流，鬃霜還在迷路。影兆發(fā)現(xiàn)，蠟毛如果轉(zhuǎn)移注意力，靈魂們就不會被蠟毛控制，鬃霜就帶著幾只掙脫的靈魂尋找解開通道中的藤條，他們發(fā)現(xiàn)，希望可以，鬃霜告訴莖葉，斑毛懷了他的孩子，藤條就解開了一根。黑森林的黑水慢慢上漲，影兆被蠟毛壓在黑水之上，鬃霜救了影兆，她和蠟毛在黑水里同歸于盡了，貓一旦死在黑水里，他們的靈魂也會消失，根泉差點要跟著鬃霜一起死，但是他母親紫羅蘭光不讓，七部曲就結(jié)束了～
