    This book is about a girl named Ella is given the worst gift ever from a fairy named Lucinda. It is the gift of obedience. There is an example: it is Ella’s birthday. There cook Mandy which is also her fairy godmother bakes her a cake and told her to eat. This is a command. So when she has eaten the first slice, Mandy gives her another, Ella is full now, nobody gives her more , but she knows that she has to keep eating. So she dig into the cake. She is so full, she cries while eating.Her mom knows about the bad gift and she command her to stop. This curse make Ella break up with her best friend in finishing school and other bad things. Ella is best friend with the prince of Frell, Prince Char. They both fell in love with each other. The Prince proposed to Ella, she knows that if she marries the Prince, she will endangered the Prince because her bad stepsisters know the the curse , they will used it against them. She goes to the ball by the Frell royal family three times. Every times the Prince is closer to her. But the Prince don’t know this is Ella because she always wears a mask. But one of her stepsisters snatched the mask of her head. After a lot of things, Ella broke the curse all by herself. She and the Prince are married and lived happily ever after.
