Evie is working at the diner, making dog treats, and her friend, Iris, is there too. Her dog, (not officially hers YET) Fudge, is not supposed to be in the diner, because he’s a dog. But soon, he comes in! Hannah (Evie’s stepmom) comes in the diner and sees Fudge! Hannah doesn’t know if keeping Fudge is a good idea, so he has to behave.
