The tide pool is where many sea animals live. There are three habitats at the tide pool. The habitats are the rocky habitat, the sandy habitat, and the open water habitat.
The rocky habitat is where you can find cliffs and big rocks. Animals attach to the rocks or hide between them. They cannot dig under the rock to hide. They are easy to find. You can find many animals holding onto the rocks so that waves won’t knock them around.
Some animals that live in the rocky habitats are starfish, mussels, sea anemones, chitons, banacles, and sea snails. There are a lot more rocky habitats animals.
