2013 Summer Camp - Monday, July 8, 2013

My idea for the space museum 

Today, when I woke up，I told Mommy about my dream，“My dream is taking a bath in the spaceship.Wait a minute, if we take a long bath, will the spaceship be flooded or water will be spilled everywhere?”It was confusing for me. 

Then, I wonder if girl astronauts take a bath, will boy astronauts see them?Mom said: “I don’t know.You should ask your science teacher, I bet.”  

Going to the summer camp 

Today is so exciting.It’s the first day of summer camp! 

I met four teachers.I know 3 teachers' names but I don’t know my PE teacher’s name, but that’s OK.One of them is called Paige.The other is called Jana.The third’s name is Amanda.I like them all, and they are nice to me too.My lunch was peanut and jam sandwich.It was delectable. 

The missing sock 

In the afternoon, we went swimming and it was a test.Each of us had to swim freestyle. The teacher told us that we can’t bring bags to the pool. 

Then I wore socks to the pool and I brought towel and everything.I went upstairs, then the teacher gave me a basket.I put everything in.Then I went to the swim pool.Later, I came up and got my socks and towels and walked downstairs.Then I put one of the socks onto my foot, but I can’t find the other one! 

I asked my teacher, but she said: “I have no idea where it is.”So I kept on thinking of this for the rest of the day, hoping it will show up tomorrow. 

A poem 

The first day of my summer camp, I wrote a poem: 

A good-smell little ball 
A diamond hunted by me 
A name tag made by me 
A little marble on the floor 
A sock lost by me
