Dad:Family time! Everyone come here! J:Here I come! Dad:Look, what's this? J: It is a spider. Dad: It's a really big one! Mum: It scares me! Dad:Listen carefully, I will tell you about the rules of the game. I call it 'Creepy Spider'. Mum and J should pretend to sleep in the bed, then I will chant 'Eentsy Weentsy spider',when you hear 'the eentsy weentsy spider went up the water spout', you try to get away from the spider, because I will move the fake spider up to scare you.Clear? J:Yes. Mum:Got it! 
 

2. The Very Busy Spider We need a paperplate, scissors, yarn, tape, plastic spiders Steps: Cut several notches around the edge of the paperplate. Tape the yarn to the back of the plate and start weaving it over and across the plate, fitting it into the notches. When the yarn runs out, tape the end of the yarn on the back too. Add your spiders!

First I will sing the song. When you hear 'the eentsy weentsy spider went up the water spout', you two pretend to climb. When you hear 'Down came the rain and washed the spider out', you squat down. When you hear 'out came the sun and dried up all the rain', you stand up. When you hear 'the eentsy weentsy spider went up the spout again', you climb up again. Is that ok? Got it? Mum:Ok. J:Ok. Dad:Then we will change roles.
