The 1,000th Book! Hooray!

沒(méi)有讀過(guò)一本分級(jí)讀物，不借助任何電子產(chǎn)品，僅靠每天30-40分鐘的親子閱讀，到目前已完成1,000本次的閱讀。小朋友自然而然地開(kāi)始要求指讀，開(kāi)始認(rèn)字，目前認(rèn)識(shí)所有basic sight words. 在此基礎(chǔ)上，開(kāi)始穿插著玩一些flash cards, 慢慢增加詞匯量。從單純識(shí)字，到自發(fā)造句，增加自信，慢慢培養(yǎng)出熱情。有了熱情后，開(kāi)始做一些worksheets, 網(wǎng)上免費(fèi)下載，reading comprehension,sight words,picture/word clues, word-find等, 培養(yǎng)以后帶著思考去自主閱讀的習(xí)慣。她很享受自己一字一句地讀出來(lái)的感受，不僅是書(shū)里內(nèi)容，更是出門在外的任何一個(gè)場(chǎng)所的一句廣告/標(biāo)語(yǔ)/指示，會(huì)有成就感。而我很享受她享受的那一刻。 
 

語(yǔ)言老師布置的暑假作業(yè)中，有一項(xiàng)是造句。開(kāi)始時(shí)小朋友對(duì)造句完全沒(méi)概念，我舉了例子也作用不大。

于是拿出Word-Finds雜志，跟她一起玩尋詞游戲。前提是小朋友認(rèn)識(shí)一些詞，讓她自己選主題，不強(qiáng)迫，完全建立在"想玩"的熱情之上。

雖然所有的詞都是我找到的，但過(guò)程中帶她一起拼讀，畫(huà)圈，從Hello Kitty主題出發(fā)造句，慢慢衍生到別的內(nèi)容。我告訴小朋友，造句就是發(fā)揮你的想象力，將幾個(gè)或多個(gè)詞連起來(lái)。拼讀單詞時(shí)我告訴她單詞是由字母組成的，造句時(shí)我告訴她句子是由單詞組成的。以后造句熟練了，我們可以嘗試寫(xiě)文章，因?yàn)槲恼率怯删渥咏M成的。

一頁(yè)尋詞游戲，我們基本可以玩一個(gè)小時(shí)。有時(shí)會(huì)一起玩卡片，有時(shí)玩記憶力游戲。任何游戲，只要家長(zhǎng)有心，都可以帶領(lǐng)孩子玩出不同的效果。目的就一個(gè): 多發(fā)揮想象力，多思考，多說(shuō)。

Begin your new construction with twenty six letters.

Hammer a through z into words.

Pile your words like blocks into sentence towers-- measure some tall, saw others short.

Mortar each sentence with punctuation,then frame your sentences into paragraph villages, stack your paragraphs into chapter cities.

Keep on building words into sentences,sentences into paragraphs,paragraphs into chapters until you have created a whole world of book.

Conclusion: letters-->words-->sentences--> paragraphs-->chapters-->Books.

1. To find out the words listed on the left of the page.

2. To make sentences using the words.

3. To write a story based on the words. The story doesn't have to be for Hello Kitty. The main characters can be anyone you know or you don't know. They even can be the five little monkeys from the books you've read!

4. When we are done with the Word-Finds game, we will have our very first book with all stories written by ourselves! Hooray!

5. Have fun! And the writer will be rewarded!
