Julie buys all kinds of makeup: red and purple stuff for her hair, green stuff for her cheeks, black stuff for her lips and yellow stuff for her eyes. When she looks in the mirror she thinks, ”O(jiān)h! I am as pretty as a movie star.” What she can't understand is why her parents don't seem to agree. Her mother screams, her father faints, and it isn't until Julie comes downstairs wearing her ”regular face” that she learns she is beautiful with no makeup on at all. 這本稍稍有點(diǎn)卡認(rèn)知，主要是小男孩對makeup沒概念，媽一邊講一邊動手給自己畫了一個哈哈哈哈，然后問他，漂亮嗎？他竟然點(diǎn)點(diǎn)頭！哦莫，這令人擔(dān)憂的審美??這就沒法理解書里的笑點(diǎn)啦，還有后面低買高賣的梗也得解釋一下。怎么說呢？就解釋笑話還挺尷尬的
