Chapter1-3 Compares to ‘Holes’ ,’Lord of the flies’ is not as concise and straightforward.There are a lot of scenic descriptions in the first chapter, which I find a bit difficult to understand.The plot also progresses relatively slowly,and it is not until the second chapter when the children establish their team that the book becomes interesting “
