因讀阿摩司·奧茲《愛與黑暗的故事》激起了進一步了解中東歷史的欲望，大部頭的很難讀進去，于是找來這本有關(guān)中東歷史的青少年圖文讀物。該書重點集中于20世紀以來中東地區(qū)的歷史，書后詞匯表、年表、人物介紹非常有用。

讀書的過程讓我時不時想到鳳凰衛(wèi)視上侃侃而談的專家學者、時事評論員，“中東戰(zhàn)爭”、“巴以沖突”、“蘇伊士運河危機”、“伊朗革命”、“薩達姆”、“本·拉登”，“恐怖主義”......這些名詞似乎最初都是從那里聽來的，但這的確是一本青少年讀物，不過從Goodreads評論來看...
