這本小說名氣大得很，祥子的創(chuàng)作靈感是來自于老舍的朋友所講訴的真實(shí)事件。祥子從一個對于拉車充滿激情的年輕人，又變成了一個行尸走肉一樣沒有追求和希望只為了賺那十幾個銅子兒的“人”是那個時代的真實(shí)寫照。祥子的理想是美好的，可是每當(dāng)他希望的火苗燃起時，又在快要成功的瞬間被冷水潑滅。這本小說中的那個年頭雖然不是一個人吃人的時期，可是那時候的人被錢所“指引”，為了錢可以做出任何事情。那個年頭老北京人的貪財和盲目迷信才導(dǎo)致了祥子最后落魄的結(jié)局。
