最近開始讀托爾金的作品了?；舯忍厝俗匀皇鞘桩?dāng)其沖。市面上的版本很多，袖珍版，托老手繪封面版，70周年典藏版，紅金龍典藏版（絕版很難買到）等等。做了大量對(duì)比，最后買了這個(gè)布面插圖版，非常推薦！這個(gè)版本和紅金龍典藏版的的插圖作者是同一人，非常喜歡他的風(fēng)格，童趣十足。這套書是銅版紙印刷，雖然重了點(diǎn)，但是是目前版本中字最大號(hào)的，很適合孩子讀，價(jià)格也比其他典藏版本實(shí)惠，性價(jià)比極高。托老的文筆絕贊，用詞非常通順，個(gè)人感覺(jué)讀起來(lái)比哈利波特簡(jiǎn)單，盡管后者被稱為是兒童文學(xué)。非常推薦大家自讀，再給孩子讀，故事很有趣，比電影好看！

I've read through the first Harry Potter till this one (which is the sixth). And I must say, this book surprises me! First of all, Harry changed a lot through this book. He seemed braver, and more determined, and most of all he suffered losses and learned from them. As I said before, I was a bit shocked from Dumbledore's death. The description was vivid, made me not only follow along the book, but also dived into the book. Like many Harry fans, I enjoyed the book very much. And I believe the author put a lot of effort into this. She still left more hints and hooks in the end, and that make me wonder what will happen next in the final book of Harry Potter. I so want to read the next book now!!!

This is the one of the two age-appropriate intro to world history for very young children (7~11) I've found. It gives just enough information to bring about an interest in the child to learn more about a certain topic without giving too much that it becomes long and drawn out. The only drawback I can think of is that Hillyer assumed his listeners are Christian. But I guess kids would unintentionally ignore that part, at least my child did, and he appreciates Hillyer's warm story-telling style.

I enjoyed this book really much because it is a cacophony of sorrow, happiness and anger intertwining together and making each other stand out. It speaks of grieving for a loss, but mostly it is about how a young girl who is not accustomed to hard times and work growing and thriving, even if she experienced loss and pain beyond measure. I understand why it has its name, and the main character really does rise from her hard life and find joy in small events.
