給小朋友的關于史前地球的書，這是所讀過的最好的一本。最初也是被史前動物吸引，有趣又生動地吸引著讀下去，隨后用這些動物帶著來到人類的進化，然后轉(zhuǎn)入地質(zhì)地理學，真正深入淺出。最為推薦的是整本書帶動起來的思路，打破了我們學校里慣用的一維思維，書中有很多當時科學家提出的假設及后來得到的驗證，同時從多個角度詮釋Ice Age ，力求幫助小朋友們建立更完整的多學科的認識，文章用詞非?？陀^嚴謹，隨時有貼心的詞語解釋，通篇讀下來沒有太大難度，收獲卻是巨大。書中大部分素材都是歐洲和非洲，后期也有北美洲的大量詳細資料，亞洲部分幾乎沒有，也許是亞洲在這個領域內(nèi)的發(fā)現(xiàn)與研究還有差距。給小朋友的關聯(lián)閱讀：迪斯尼 Ice Age 系列，迪斯尼 The Croods《瘋狂原始人》，BBC 及 Discovery 其他記錄片
