Preface~Only in the Broad Space of Cancellations, the Facts and Histories    
        can be Corroborated

    郵戳之於郵票，有如紅花綠葉兩相配，才能顯現(xiàn)出其既艷又雅的格局，而紀(jì)念與臨局特戳之內(nèi)涵更能顯現(xiàn)出其所勾勒之歷代軌跡，故郵學(xué)前輩有言「今日之郵戳，即明日之郵史」，這也是近代郵學(xué)家所以極力於郵史封戳之收集與鑽研之主因。
    The postal marks as matched as with stamps, can be coordinated as well as the red flowers matched with green leaves and showed the elegant and brilliant structures.Particularly,the contents of commemorative postal cancellations and special postmarks used by temporary post offices will emphasize the historical locus that they described. Some antecessor philatelists will denote the phrase that “Postmarks in Today, Histories in Tomorrow” is addressing this cause and fact. This is also the major reason that current philatelists will persuade the collections of postal histories, covers and postmarks, and study them in hard.
    早期紀(jì)念與臨局特戳之收集，由於缺乏資料與來源不易，故入手極難。民國(guó)二〇年代前後，郵學(xué)名家謝鄂常、張賡伯、閻東魁等人，即注意此類郵戳之收集，他們將點(diǎn)滴資料列載於新光、甲戌……等古典郵刊內(nèi)，雖未有總體系統(tǒng)的歸納，但在那個(gè)年代，已屬不易之舉，也為我輩今日找尋資料之根源。臺(tái)灣地區(qū)在民國(guó)五〇年代以後，錢兆鐘、陳炯、嚴(yán)啟文、李文亮等前輩也熱衷於紀(jì)念(臨局)特戳之搜羅研究，直到民國(guó)七十三年嚴(yán)啟文編《中國(guó)郵政紀(jì)念戳實(shí)錄（第一集）》，七十五年徐盛淇編《中華民國(guó)郵政特戳圖錄》，以及陳炯著《觀戳記趣》等專著，內(nèi)容以民國(guó)三十八年（一九四九年）以前大陸地區(qū)的資料為主，讓我們有了較完整可資參考的戳圖與內(nèi)容理解，對(duì)收集紀(jì)念特戳領(lǐng)域的助益，可說是具有劃時(shí)代的貢獻(xiàn)。
    In the earlier stage, lack of the information and resources, the collection of commemorative postal cancellations and special postmarks used by temporary post offices will be difficult to handle. On the era of Republic Year 20,some famous philatelists, Hsieh Er-Chang,Chang Gan-Bo,Yen Dong-Kui ... noticed that these cancellations are worthy to collect. They announced and published information bit by bit on some philatelic journals, as Hsinkuan, Jiahsu...etc. This piecewise information has not been concluded systematically at that era, but in that time, it is still an excellent task and is the resource that important data referenced for us. After and beginning at Republic Year 50's, in the Taiwan, some antecessor philatelists Chan Chao-Chong,Chen Chun,Yen Chi-Wen and Li Wen-Liang... are engaged to collect and study commemorative (temporary post office) cancellations.Until books "The Commemorative Post Marks of China Part(I)1909-1949”edited by Yen Chi-Wen in 1984, Illustrative Catalog of Special Postmarks of ROC"edited by Hsu Shen-Chi in1986and“Notes on Cancellations”edited by Chen Chun, are published will provide us more details about the figures of these cancellations and explanations of issuing background. These books debe majorly the content prior 1949 (Republic Year 38) and used in Mainland China will provican huge contributions to collect the commemorative and special postmarks.
    筆者收集紀(jì)念（臨局）特戳的歷史超過30年，早先遵循前輩郵人之軌躋，從較普通的品種入手，如抗戰(zhàn)勝利，國(guó)民大會(huì)，蔣主席六十壽辰等紀(jì)戳收羅，但時(shí)間一久，發(fā)現(xiàn)即使看來普通的品種，背後也隱藏複雜的變化，於是努力與海外郵友聯(lián)絡(luò)切磋，也買進(jìn)不少過去發(fā)現(xiàn)較少的品種，乃下工夫加以整理歸納，並由過去的集郵銷戳片，逐漸選擇實(shí)寄或接近自然的封片實(shí)物。近年大陸不少郵友也熱衷於此一領(lǐng)域的收羅研究，不斷發(fā)現(xiàn)新的資料，吾友青島陸游兄即珍藏不少好東西，在本會(huì)同好的鼓勵(lì)下，不揣冒昧，2014年郵文聯(lián)誼會(huì)的郵學(xué)叢書，就由敝人擔(dān)綱撰寫1949年以前的中國(guó)紀(jì)念與臨局郵戳史。
    The Author has collected these commemorative (temporary post office) special postmarks for more than 30 years. On the first, followed the trials of antecessors, collected the usually items on the first hand, such as Victory of War, National Assembly and Congress, In Celebration to the 60th Birthday of Chair Chiang...For the time being, discovers that these items are also contain complex variations behind the scene even they are looked in common. Thru exchanging valuable information with philatelists resided all over the world, buying many items that less found previously, and studying and analyzing in great deal, conclude that the real delivered covers, cards that contained these special cancellations, as named as more“nature" items are worthy to collect than some items named “cancelled to order". Recently, some philatelists lived in Mainland China are also interested in collecting and researching these particular areas and discover many newly information constantly.Typically Lu You in Chingdau keeps many excellent items in his treasure. Under the courage of members of the Club, this 2014 Special Philatelic Series Book of the Writers' Club will be edited by the author to provide his excellences and his conclusions.
    承蒙諸多郵友的協(xié)助，本書羅列了1899~1949年間中國(guó)地區(qū)使用的269種特戳，比諸嚴(yán)著之181種，徐目之224種，已有顯著的增加;不過仍有缺漏，有待未來的補(bǔ)充。全書所列紀(jì)念臨局（尚有極少的臨時(shí)郵亭、臨時(shí)行動(dòng)郵局）特戳，除了明顯是郵局官署刻用者外，由於早年各種私人機(jī)構(gòu)或個(gè)人活動(dòng)不易，刻用特戳也是難能之舉，有些私戳尚得郵局準(zhǔn)許銷票而具效力，這些也均納入書中資料，每一號(hào)特戳，文中略述戳史及相關(guān)活動(dòng)背景，也舉証實(shí)物戳記封片，並將戳圖以手工一一描繪，以求保有原味，故本書之手工描繪戳圖，恐怕是書中的一項(xiàng)特色，總共超過450多個(gè)戳圖，讓筆者彎腰注目，花了極大的精力才完成。
    By all assistantships from many philatelists,269 special postmarks from 1889 t0 1949 are listed in this book, compared with 181 listed in Yen's book and 224 in Hsu's book, has significant increased the items of special cancellations. Some missing and gaps of the items will be supplemented in the later. All commemoratives, special postmarked used in temporary post office (some are fewer, such as Temporary Post Kiosk,Temporary Mobile Post Office), in additional to the cancellations that engraved and used obviously by the postal authorities, some privileged private used cancellations are also included as referenced. For the reasons that some private organizations or privileged persons are not easily to get granted the activities at the period, engraved and used these special cancellations are also the uncommon behaviors and worthy to collect, and some private cancellations will be allowed to use to cancel the stamps and become the validates.Each special cancellation listed in this book, brief history of the postmark and background of the usage are described.Real covers or cards delivered with these cancellations are also illustrated as evidences.The cancellation scheme is sketched by hand one for each for displaying its originals and details. These sketched pictures by hand could be the one particle feature in the book.Totally more than 450 sketched drawings will kill the author backbones and eye visions, and the completion of drawings will cost many efforts of author's empowers.
    本書兼具目錄與專著的功能，為使郵友查閱方便，後面特別附有索引及歸類，讓對(duì)某一類別或事項(xiàng)（如航空、運(yùn)動(dòng)、郵展……）特別有興趣者，可以依編號(hào)或頁(yè)碼看到戳圖內(nèi)容，作為研究或收集的指引。當(dāng)然，個(gè)人能力有限，恐怕無法盡善盡美，缺漏或不當(dāng)之處在所難免，請(qǐng)參閱此書之郵友前輩能不吝指教，或提供書中遺漏的資料。而特戳中之手蓋及機(jī)蓋宣傳戳部份，將於日後再整理出書，有此方面收藏之郵友也請(qǐng)事先提供寶貴資料，將不勝感恩！
    This book can be used both as the catalog and special topic.For easily referencing of philatelists, index and classification are appended on the book. It can be easily accessed these particular cancellations drawings or figures by these index, referencing page number, or particular interested classifications (for examples: air delivery, sport, philatelic exhibition...). These will be the guidance for collecting or researching.Certainly, this book cannot be the perfect for lack of personal knowledge and capability.Some missing points or improper aspects are appeared in the book obviously, wish every reviewer will point out these errors and provide the missing information to the author. The handy and meter propaganda postmarks in these special cancellations that are not included in this book, will be accumulated and summarized in the coming series book.Author will preannounce this book and ask sincerely for philatelists who collected and owed these items will provide valuable information to him. It is great appreciations to author.
