Hugo Ballard and his four year old sister Gertie went on the Hindenburg with their parents from Germany to Lakehurst New Jersey . Hindenburg is a name of a zeppelin, a large ship that was floating in the air. Hugo did not go on Hindenburg for excitement, because they brought Gertie go to the doctor. In Hindenburg, lots of Nazi soldiers were looking for a secret spy, which was his new friend Marty's dad! The disaster of the Hindenburg was caused by a blast rick when it was landing. That made Hindenburg turn into flame and wasted metal. Fortunately, all of Hugo's family and friends survived but the Nazi soldiers didn't. Hugo was a brave and caring boy. I recommend this book.
