We are Ticky and Tacky and Jackie the Backie and Jim with two noses and Jo with the bow"。最后一個(gè)小男孩卻把他們剪碎了。但他們?nèi)匀皇掷钟肋h(yuǎn)活在小女孩的記憶里。女孩慢慢長(zhǎng)大也成為媽媽?zhuān)步o自己的女兒繼續(xù)做著paper dolls。小小B現(xiàn)在只是被paper dolls每次唱的歌吸引，但總有一天她會(huì)懂得珍視的人、事、物可能都有離開(kāi)的一刻，但它們并不等于消失，而是換一種形式與自己共存。

There was once a girl.

She had a nice mother who helped her to make some paper dolls.

從前有個(gè)小女孩，她和媽媽一起做了paper dolls（紙娃娃）。

They were Ticky and Tacky

and Jakie the Backie

and Jim with two noses

and Jo with the bow.

他們是Ticky、Tacky、總是背過(guò)身去的Jackie、兩個(gè)鼻子的Jim和扎著蝴蝶結(jié)的Jo.

The paper dolls had met dinosaur, tiger and crocodile.

They always laughed, and sang,

"You can't get/catch/crunch us. Oh no no no!

We're holding hands and we won't let go.

We're Ticky and Tacky and Jackie the Backie

And Jim with two noses and Jo with the bow!"

And they escaped from danger...

娃娃們遇見(jiàn)過(guò)恐龍、老虎和鱷魚(yú)，在危機(jī)時(shí)刻他們總是拉著手唱著：“你抓不到我們的，哈哈不可能的！我們一直手拉手不放松。我們是Ticky、Tacky、總是背過(guò)身去的Jackie、兩個(gè)鼻子的Jim和扎著蝴蝶結(jié)的Jo”，每次都化險(xiǎn)為夷。

Along came a boy with a pair of scissors

and he snipped them into tiny little pieces.

直到一個(gè)男孩的出現(xiàn)…把他們剪得粉碎。

But the pieces all joint together with the song

and the paper dolls flew into the little girl's memory.

但，娃娃們?nèi)匀怀枋掷?strong>飛進(jìn)了小女孩兒的記憶中。

And the girl grew into a mother

who helped her own little girl make some paper dolls.

女孩兒慢慢長(zhǎng)大成為母親，也幫她的孩子做紙娃娃。

第一次讀完這本書(shū)我流淚了，小小寶有些意外的靜靜看著我。她大概不明白，為什么剛才一遍又一遍和自己拉著手歡快唱著paper dolls“勇敢之歌”的媽媽突然變得這么沉靜。表情也有些奇怪，有著“sad”眼淚的臉上為什么還有一絲“happy”的微笑。

因?yàn)閶寢屚蝗缓孟裣肫鹆嗽S多...

親愛(ài)的寶貝，現(xiàn)在的你可能更喜歡paper dolls的歌聲，還有在小女孩兒的記憶里“尋寶”玩I spy的游戲，但總有一天你會(huì)懂得—
