2012/06/30 Saturday

Today we woke up at 7:30 because its a weekend, and we went to breakfast at 8:00, and the cafeteria was empty becauze we were the first ones there. After breakfast we had hall time, and at 10:00 Becca and some girls went to religious services. Me and Phillip stayed in my room and watched Physh and played piano on my iPad, and I also copied notes onto my notebook and reviewed on the work we have done this week. At1 11:30 we went to lunch, and after lunch Becca had a hall meeting with us. She told us that we are going to have a big activity called the "Olympics Day". Our hall is India, and we belong to the continent Asia, so we have to wear red, pink or white. We had some time to change into our clothes and then we went to the library square to gather. There are 4 continents, Asia, Europe,America and Africa. The first competition we had was 4-square. We have 2 people on each team and we would compete. America won 4-square because they are all boys and they had the most people. Then we had small group to compete on soccer, basketball, baseball and tug of war.. We collect points for our continents but at the end they said that we are all winners. We went back to dorms after that and had hall time, and Becca asked us to sign up for activities for the rest of the week. Then we went to dinner, and after dinner Becca told us that we had to split into small groups of 2 and go into other group because we are the biggest boy group. Me and Phillip are going to Ningwei and Lanren's group. Tonight we have the GAME SHOWS! The game shows are made up of different games, such as hang-man, spelling bee, investor bankers, and CTY trivia. We earn points and at the end we devide the winner group. The winner group can decide what movie to watch on Sunday. Ningwei and Lauren's group, which is our group, won at the end with 53 points. We went back to the dorms at 9:00, and I had another sleepover with Phillip in my room.
