HEROES FOR ALL TIMES is a good book which introduces altogether 6 heroes. They are Florence Nightingale, Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, Mahatma Gandli, Martin Luther King Jr. and John Muir, all of whom are heroes for all times.
Dr. King believeved that all people should be treated as equals. When he was alive, African American people were not treated very well in south American. Dr. King became a civil rights leader. He worked to make life better for African Americans. Moreover, he believed in kindness and love, he encouraged people not to fight, even when other people were not kind to him. Lastly, he risked his own life to help others, and died at the age of 39. Being a civil rights leader can be very dangerous. Dr. king may have died young, but his work is still important today. People still remember and appreciate everything he did. That is why he is a hero.
Have you ever been undergroud? Harriet Tubman has. She is a hero for her work with the Underground Railroad. She devoted her life to helping people and she spent her whole life helping slaves. Although she had escape to the north by herself, she came back again to help more people to aquire freedom.???
