magic tree house的開篇第一本，喜歡的恐龍的男娃女娃肯定會喜歡這本，適合給恐龍迷作為入章的首選。這一本lexile指數(shù)只有240L，閱讀指數(shù)達(dá)到的娃理解大意肯定不成問題，只是涉及到恐龍肯定還是有一些生僻的詞比如白堊紀(jì)、霸王龍之類的。 也有偶爾出現(xiàn)的習(xí)慣用法，比如p44的“coast clear”。The coast is clear, 作為習(xí)慣用語，就是沒有人阻礙，危險已經(jīng)過去，可以開始行動的意思。有意思的是，這個意思或許源自海盜。
