About Magic Tree House series
Magic Tree House is a book series for young children by Mary Pope Osborne. The series features two children, the bookworm Jack and his adventurous and imaginative younger sister Annie, who travel to historical places using a magic tree house. The magic tree house belongs to Morgan Le Fay who, in the series, is King Arthur's sister and a librarian. She uses the magic tree house to gather books from time and space.

Jack and Annie travel by opening a book, pointing at a picture of a place and then wishing that they could go there. The magic tree house then spins around and magically they arrive at the location.

magic tree house的開篇第一本，喜歡的恐龍的男娃女娃肯定會喜歡這本，適合給恐龍迷作為入章的首選。這一本lexile指數(shù)只有240L，閱讀指數(shù)達(dá)到的娃理解大意肯定不成問題，只是涉及到恐龍肯定還是有一些生僻的詞比如白堊紀(jì)、霸王龍之類的。
也有偶爾出現(xiàn)的習(xí)慣用法，比如p44的“coast clear”。The coast is clear, 作為習(xí)慣用語，就是沒有人阻礙，危險已經(jīng)過去，可以開始行動的意思。有意思的是，這個意思或許源自海盜。

對于剛開始章節(jié)的孩子來說，太棒了，同樣的句子，使用不同的動詞，孩子能理解的基礎(chǔ)上又能增加詞匯量，又不影響對內(nèi)容的理解，比如看這個詞，文章中分別用look，peer，peek，stare at 反復(fù)不同的詞去表達(dá)這個意思，真的太棒了

這套書作為章節(jié)書的過度是非常不錯的，首先故事內(nèi)容是很吸引孩子的，其次句子結(jié)構(gòu)非常簡單，重復(fù)率比較高，一個章節(jié)也比較短，和孩子共讀的時候感覺很容易接受。讀完了之后早晚都會裸聽40分鐘左右。因為是精讀，所以會讀完后配合一些問題，一章差不多十個左右，孩子可以直接回答，也可以根據(jù)印象在書上找，進(jìn)度并不快，所以感覺還不錯！

下午兒子用了一個小時讀完的！之前已經(jīng)有看過三五遍了！一旁偶爾聽到他讀出來的聲音時，我覺得這次和第一次讀時的感情沒有太大的出入！聲音上依然那么飽滿圓潤，情緒上沒有一絲的厭倦！也許這就是這本書的魅力吧！孩子不管什么時候讀，都是那么美好的進(jìn)入想象中，感受著書中故事帶給自己的那份快樂和神秘吧！

娃倒是很喜歡這套書，他喜歡這對兄妹，喜歡書里的小驚險，最喜歡的還是moon那本～娃只是聽了一下，以后有機(jī)會會結(jié)合百科過一下～

語句其實還是比較簡單的，但相比牛津樹七級的詞匯量要求還是更大的。雖然之前中文版神奇校車的閱讀版已經(jīng)講完，但可能對于一個五歲的娃來說，全黑白少圖畫的英文故事書還是有點不夠好玩吧，而且也可能這是個新的故事和人物，對她而言還需要一個接受過程，看來考慮明年再繼續(xù)這套書吧！

跟著Jack and Annie去冒險，這樣的故事情節(jié)很有意思。我發(fā)現(xiàn)小男孩對恐龍?zhí)貏e感興趣，看到書里的插圖，馬上能分辨出不同種類的恐龍。圖文匹配，更加有利于理解。

10.《Magic Tree House》28+27=55本。19年1月看了一兩本覺得有點難沒有繼續(xù)。2019年6月1日，娃重新開始看這套經(jīng)典初章，6月20日，提前看完上半部1-28本，6月21日開始看下半部，7月8日看完。差不多一天兩本的節(jié)奏。
