我指著封面問娃:“Honey, 2025 is the Year of the Snake. Can you find Peppa and George?” 孩子一下就找到了,我接著科普:“Snakes are smart and wise in Chinese culture.” 孩子聽得可認(rèn)真了。
內(nèi)頁精彩對話:
翻開第一頁,看到羚羊夫人,我引導(dǎo)娃:“Madame Gazelle is welcoming the new year. What can you see besides the kids?” 娃興奮地喊:“Lanterns!” 我又說:“Lanterns bring hope, and we might see snake - shaped ones this year.”
到了公牛先生送煙花那頁,我提問:“Mr. Bull is bringing fireworks. Why do we set them off in the Year of the Snake?” 娃搖頭,我解釋:“To scare away bad luck and welcome good fortune.” 娃恍然大悟。
孩子們打掃那頁,我問:“They're sweeping out the old year, just like we do before the snake year comes. Why do they hide the brushes?” 娃一臉好奇,我接著說:“So they don't sweep away the snake year's good luck.”
看到大家穿紅衣做龍,我講:“Red is lucky, especially in the Year of the Snake. If it were a snake - themed craft, what would you make?” 娃興致勃勃地出主意。
煙花準(zhǔn)備頁,我問:“Mr. Bull is getting fireworks ready. What do you think he'll say to Madame Gazelle?” 娃猜:“They'll be ready!”
龍制作完成,我提議:“We can make a paper - snake like they made this dragon. How about it?” 娃立馬點(diǎn)頭。
分配舞龍任務(wù)時(shí),我說:“If it were a snake - parade, there'd be different jobs. What could the last job be?” 娃開動(dòng)小腦筋思考。
公牛先生引領(lǐng)舞龍,我模仿聲音:“Listen! 'CLANG!' 'BOOM!' It'd be just as exciting in a snake - year parade.” 娃聽得超入迷。
煙花表演開始,我感慨:“These fireworks are like good wishes for the snake year. Do you like them?” 娃開心地說:“Yes! So pretty!”
