雙語養(yǎng)育日記：所有的一切都不會白費

這是一個信息爆炸的時代。

我的電腦里有246G雙語養(yǎng)育相關資料：繪本、兒歌、分級讀物、科普書、動畫片、兒童雜志、podcast、自然拼讀、育兒書、詞典等等。囤了這么多資料，我真的看得過來嗎？

當然看不過來，不過也沒必要全看完。我對自己有兩條要求：一是清楚這個巨大的資源庫里有哪些資料，二是清楚什么階段需要哪些資料。

隨著雙語養(yǎng)育進入到第17個月，心里也越來越有數(shù)了。最近趕上工作比較忙，就不學新東西啦，專心整理當前需要的資料。

群群快滿20個月了，入睡一直是我陪。最近她對睡前歌謠要求很高，尖叫拒絕一切抒情曲目和常聽曲目，越是新歌（不一定是全新的歌，不常聽的都算）越愛聽，歌詞越多越愛聽。畫風一般是這樣的：

媽媽：Mary had a little 

群群：（哭泣）No！

媽媽：You don't like this song? It's beautiful.

群群：（決絕地）No!

媽媽：How about this one? Hush a littte baby don't..

群群：（大喊）No！

媽媽：Twinkle...

群群：（騰地坐起來）No no no no no！

媽媽：OK！No shouting. Let me see... （慌亂中）There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked（黑人問號臉）...You didn't say no. I was expecting a no from you. You like this one？

群群：（津津有味地）Yeah.

媽媽：I forgot the lyrics. I used to sing it well but now I just don't remember the words. Let me sing a new one.

群群：No！

媽媽：... ...

我決定順著她的喜好為她唱。連續(xù)一周，一首To Babyland，一首There was a Crooked Man和一首Mary Mary Quite Contrary輕松撂倒。這三首歌都是我在群群半歲前學的，但由于歌詞和日常生活距離太遠，基本沒有發(fā)揮作用。

其實關于兒歌，就在一個月之前我還痛苦的反思（雙語養(yǎng)育反思：唱兒歌很痛苦？是我的錯），認為難度過高的兒歌不僅阻礙了群群的語言發(fā)展，更讓我自己陷入育兒焦慮?？墒且粋€月后，也許是嬰兒時期的記憶蘇醒，群群對那些打入冷宮的歌曲興趣重燃，竟成了這個階段的哄睡神曲。這不禁令我想起了喬布斯的那句話：

You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.

是啊，那些我以為浪費時間白學了的兒歌就這樣不經(jīng)意地幫助群群順順利利地進入夢鄉(xiāng)。So I have to trust that the songs will somehow work in some way I would never expect.

于是我將以前學過的WEE SING大致整理了一下，把群群可能會喜歡的哄睡歌撿起來，唱給她聽：

還有一本繪本，買了許久，群群不是特別感興趣，但我自己很喜歡它的韻律，也打算作為哄睡小詩念給群群（順序與原書有差，基本是按照我的喜好排列的）。

It’s time for bed, little mouse, little mouse.

Darkness is falling all over the house.

It’s time for bed, little goose, little goose.

The stars are out and on the loose.

It’s time for bed, little cat, little cat.

So snuggle in tight, that’s right, like that.
