There once was a boy named Greg Heffley.now he is on a losing strike.his best friend, Rowley Jefferson has ditched him. finding new friends in middle school, it's proving to be a tough task. To Change versions, Greg decides to take a leap of faith and turn his decisions over to chance.Will a roll of the dice turn things around, or is greg's life just needed to be just another hard luck story? Then,Greg found his brother's magic 8 ball. The ball is supposed to let Greg have good luck. So he used the ball on a test. But just then,the magic 8 ball fell out of Greg's hands. The ball was then taken from the teacher,and the teacher took Greg to the principal's office. That's where his mom was called. And the principal treated Greg if he didn't get his grades up to A',he will go to summer school. Summer school is not good. The did not have air conditioning so it was very hot. So Greg worked harder,and his grades shot up immediately. And his best friend Rowley Jefferson became gis best friend again,it was a win win!
