You see ,a normal mouse weight about 4 ounces, but Despereaux was only 2 ounces. Also ,he was born with his eyes open,and had abnormally large ears. He was a mouse , that did not ,by all accounts, act like one. He read books instead of chewing them. He even talked to human?! OMG ! His father, Lester ,could stand it no more , and send his very own son to the dungeons. Such a disappointment. Now,you may wonder which human he was talking to ,the answer is : The princess pea of Dor. Gro! And there is no little girl like Miggery Sow ( personally, I think Sow’s ear would be better ) in the world ! She was sold by her father for a handful of cigars, a hen ,and a red table cloth . The man who once owned the chicken often gave her Clouts to the ear, and clouted her until she was almost deaf. One day , Mig went to the palace to be a servant .Unsurprisingly,clumsy Mig failed and was finally sent to Give the Jailer Gregory dinner. In the dungeon,Miggery met Roscuro the rat,and they go on an “evil “ plan to kidnap the princess. But it’s not Mig ‘s fault ,the rat tricked her into doing it. Then Despereaux , the hero of our story saved the princess from Roscuro &Botticelli. For more details , Read This Book?!
