MS China Alive 2012 G6-Si Chuan Day 3

After a gorgeous night of rain and thunder, we woke to glorious blue skies and a crystal clear and warm day. Had crispy bacon and eggs with juice and coffee and then headed over to the moon bear rescue center. All students were able to enter the natural areas of captivity and place the bears breakfast foods throughout the enclosures. The bears were then released for their breakfast and we all safely watched from sidelines as the bears climbed, dug and lifted objects to find the food. 

We met the one and only Jill Robinson of Animals Asia and had a very nice donation ceremony where we presented the organization with the funds raised from our grade 6 Read-a-thon. 

Following another fabulous lunch, we then headed to the antique shopping market. Lots of bargaining skills! We then visited a Daoist and Buddhist temples before heading to yet another dinner. Finally we attended the Sichuan opera and variety show! Whew. We should be back at the hotel by 10 pm!
