Hello everyone. Welcome back to read with Susan. Today we we're gonna read Kipper's Diary. This is Kipper, this is Floppy. And what is Kipper doing? Monkey, do you know it? And Kipper is writing a diary.  
Susan, what is a diary? Well, a diary is about your life. You write or draw pictures in it about your life. Um, well, I have a diary. Do you have a diary? Uh, No, I don't have one yet. Don't worry about it. Let's read about Kipper's life.

Page 1 
Monday. Wow, pitter-patter! pitter-patter! It's raining, it's pouring, such a wet day, it's raining, raining. Kipper, why are you standing in the rain? You might get a cold. OK, so, it was a wet day. So much water, it's wet. wet. wet.

Page 2-3 
Tuesday. Howl...Howl...says the wind. It was a windy day. Look, all the leaves are flying in the sky. And where is Kipper going with his Mum? Oh, the pet shop. What can you see in the pet shop? Rabbit? Puppy? And more rabbits? And here is a little chicken. And some rats. It's funny. So I went to the shops.  
Maybe they're thinking of buying some pets. What do you want, Monkey? I want another monkey. I need a friend. Oh, what a cute monkey! I'm your friend, right?

And then it's Wednesday, Wednesday. Wow! It was a sunny day, really? Yeah, yeah, yeah! The sun! Um, it must be very warm and where are they? I went to the pool. This is the swimming pool, swimming pool. Look, what's this? This is called inflatable, inflatable. You can sit on it like a boat. 
And what's this? This is a diving board. 3 2 1, go! You can splish splash, divingintothe swimming pool.  Where is Kipper? Maybe this one, Kipper is swimming. Monkey, can you swim? No, I don‘ t think so. But Kipper can swim. Can you swim, everyone? I can swim. Good job!

Then it's Thursday. Wow! What a big sun! It must be a good day. It was a hot day. Oh, I'm so hot! Are you hot, everyone? Um, I am so hot.   
Where is Kipper? Oh, Kipper is here, in the park. I went to the park with daddy. Do you like going to the park? Yes, I like going to the park. Good job, everyone! You can play on the slide. You can play on the swing.

And you can drive a bumper car. Well that's a lot of fun. I love the bumper cars.It was a fun day. A fun day means you're happy. Are you happy? Yes, I'm having a fun day too.

End

But Susan, two days are missing. Yes, monkey, you're right. Saturday and Sunday are missing. On Saturday and Sunday, your dad and mum don't want to go to work, and you don't go to school.  
So why don't we sing this seven days a week song one more time. Ready? Go! Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday comes again. OK, Susan wants to write my diary now.
