Hello, everyone. Welcome back to read with Susan. Today we are gonna read this book, The Box of Treasure. Treasure treasure. Wow, what is treasure? Treasure is really, really good things. Variable things like gold, silver, a beautiful necklace, and everything. OK, I wonder what mum and dad are doing? Oh, they're writing something. And what are they writing, monkey? They are writing their names. No, monkey, they are writing treasure map, a treasure map. What's the treasure map? It tells you where to find the treasures. Wow, it sounds really exciting. Let's get started.  

Page 1 
Look, there's Mum, there is dad, and dad is holding the map. And what about mum? Mum has a shovel and there is a plastic bag, there must be something cool inside. So dad had a map. dad had a map. What are they doing there?  

  
Page 2-3 
Look, he hid the map in the sand. Dad was digging, digging, digging, and there was a hole. And dad put it inside. Um, What is Mommy doing? Mum is digging. Dig, dig, dig, Mommy is digging a big hole. Interesting!

Ha, there are the children. I know mum and dad hid the treasure and the treasure map for the children to find. Look, Biff found the map. Hey, everybody, come and over here, Look what I have got. It is a treasure map, she said. And then, here is Kipper, here is Chip, They ran over here.

4, (P6-7)And where is the treasure? The treasure is hidden 10 paces west from the big rock. Wow, that is amazing!

5, (P8-9) So what is Chip doing? Chip is digging.

6, (P10-11)  Wow, what's this, monkey? It's a box of treasure.

7, (P12) What's inside? Lots of sweets.  
Monkey, do you want to play this game with me? Yes, yes, I can't wait. Let's go, bye.
