Hello, everyone, this is Susan. Hey, Susan, what's wrong with you? Hello, this is robot Susan. Today we are gonna read this one Chip's Robot. So that's why I'm talking like a robot. Can you do it, everybody? Hello, I'm Susan, let's get started. Look, this is Chip, and Chip is making a head of a robot. This is my head. Do I Look like a robot? Now I think I Look better, right?

Now here comes Chip, and his friends. And then Chip had a box, Look, it's a big box, and inside you can see many other boxes, too.

Look, Chip poured everything out. I see many many shapes, right? I see a lot of boxes and some cylinders, cylinders. This is my robot, he said. Can you see it? And the friends go Aha. These are robots? I only see boxes!

Chip started to work. This is a leg, said Chip. Leg? Everyone, do you think it looks like a leg? Well, I can't see it. Can you see the robot? Can you see the robot, everyone?
No, I can't see the robot. I only see some boxes and the cylinders. What's this everyone? Glue. Glue is very sticky, so Chip is gluing the cylinder onto the box. Um, everyone is watching.

And then this is an arm. This is an arm, said Chip. Can you see my robot? Everyone goes, uh, I'm trying, but I still can't see a robot. Let's say together. I can't see the robot. Yeah, still, keep working, I might see it later.

Can you see it, yet? said Chip. No, said Biff. Biff still can't see it, can you see it? No, I can't see it. Um, Chip, keep working.

And here is the head, ha. This is the head, said Chip, now can you see my robot? Um, everyone is smiling, so can you see the robot? I think I can see it. Look, this is the body, this is the head. All Chip has to do is glue them together.

I can see it now, it's a robot. Yes, you are right, monkey. We can see it now, said Biff. And everyone is clapping their hands. It's a very good robot. Now monkey, do you like this robot? Yes, I like it too.
Now, I wanna make one. Shall we go and make it. What? What did you say? No, no, no, Susan, we have to read the book. Yes, you're right. Let's read the book together, OK?
Ask and answer
Now, everybody, I have a few questions to ask you. Monkey, I want you to help everyone to answer, OK?
1, (P1) What's this? It's a box. Very good, it's a box.
2, (P2-3) Now, what's this? It's a cylinder.
3, (P4-5) What's this? It's a leg.
4, (P6-7) What 's this? Um, it's an arm.
5, (P8-9) What's this, monkey? It's glue. Yes, very good. It's sticky glue.
6, (P10-11) And everybody, what's this? It's the head.
7, (P12) And now, what's this? it's a robot!
OK, monkey, I'm a robot again, I think I wanna make another robot. Do you want to join me? Yes, bye.
