初讀大名鼎鼎的牛津樹，老母親竟然有點(diǎn)水土不服（牛3簡單記錄）

我家主線是RAZ，目前初步刷完E。進(jìn)入G1難度陡增，不敢給娃刷的太快，總覺得很多地方還沒吸收消化，需要加強(qiáng)鞏固。這不就入了RAZ的黃金搭檔——牛津樹，Oxford Reading Tree Biff, Chip and Kipper Stories系列. 

想著已經(jīng)有一定的基礎(chǔ)，直接從Stage 3開始讀，一來借機(jī)復(fù)習(xí)鞏固下平行的詞匯，二來讀讀fiction給娃英語啟蒙增加點(diǎn)趣味。本想著按照RAZ的節(jié)奏，一天刷個(gè)10本。結(jié)果沒想到長期習(xí)慣和浸淫美式英語的老母親，竟然一上來就有點(diǎn)水土不服……不管是詞匯、慣用表達(dá)還是英式幽默，都讓英語專八的我覺得不提前做點(diǎn)功課真是力不從心啊。所以特開此貼，做一點(diǎn)簡單的記錄吧。

牛3一共42本，顧名思義，就是圍繞著Biff, Chip和Kipper小朋友一家的故事唄。這不半路出家，老母親我看了好幾本才勉強(qiáng)把人物對號(hào)入座。。。這42本書也是分體系的，基本6本為一個(gè)組合，具體如下：

sniff本身是嗅、聞，這里是狗的名字

3-3 Pond Dipping

pram: 嬰兒車

pond dipping:  an excellent activity for children of all ages and is a great way to introduce them to a wide range of plants, insects and amphibians（水陸兩棲動(dòng)物）. It also offers an opportunity to learn about food chains and food webs as well as discovering variations in lifecycles and the effects of pollution on aquatic life（水生生物）.

這個(gè)中文里好像找不到特別合適的對應(yīng)詞匯，字面意思就是“在池塘里蘸一蘸”，其實(shí)就是日常小朋友經(jīng)常干的事情，去小池塘里撈點(diǎn)小魚小蝦小蝌蚪啥的，親近大自然，觀察下水生生物的活動(dòng)哈。

egg hunt: 尋彩蛋（一種復(fù)活節(jié)游戲）

3-9 Nobody Wanted to Play

juggler: 玩雜耍的人，通常是拋接球

stuntman: 特技表演者，特技表演替身（這個(gè)詞是我上大學(xué)才學(xué)到的，至今印象深刻，沒想到在牛3就出現(xiàn)了……）

難得有本沒有，想到了這本書

stuntman又出現(xiàn)了。。這個(gè)絕對是大學(xué)六級以上詞匯。。

be fed up (with): =have enough of 對……感到厭煩的

3-14 Strawberry Jam

pick-your-own: 就是自己摘草莓摘水果，這個(gè)好理解哈

traffic jam: 本身是“交通阻塞/堵車”的意思，這里的jam又是個(gè)pun(一語雙關(guān))，被汽車壓出來的果醬？這個(gè)跟娃解釋起來也有點(diǎn)費(fèi)勁哈

3-15 The Jumble Sale

jumble sale: a sale of cheap used goods that is usually held to raise money for charity義賣，美劇里經(jīng)常有

spring-clean: v. to clean (a house) thoroughly: traditionally at the end of the winter 這個(gè)raz中也有，就是大掃除的意思，冬季大掃除迎接春天嘛？所以叫spring clean不是winter clean?倒是跟中國春節(jié)前大掃除有異曲同工之妙呢

junk：=trash垃圾，也是反復(fù)出現(xiàn)了

3-16 At the Seaside

burn down: be completely destroyed by fire 燒毀

這本到最后娃問我：不是在海邊嘛？為什么他們沒有去沙灘上玩呢。。

3-17 Kipper's Idea

這本也是一切盡在不言中啊，只能意會(huì)很難言傳，讀fic難道都是這種感覺嘛？

這本還挺好玩的

3-19 The Barbecue

里面每次倒霉的好像都是爸爸？

一個(gè)禮拜讀完了牛3，基本上就是這些了。牛3讀下來最大的一個(gè)感覺就是語言還是比較簡練的，內(nèi)容很貼近生活，情節(jié)也比較生動(dòng)，結(jié)尾總是讓人出乎意料。小朋友最近開始對人物慢慢敏感起來，同伴意識(shí)也有所增強(qiáng)，有好朋友的概念，喜歡跟好朋友一起玩了。這也是我打算引入牛津樹的原因之一。

碼字的功夫，娃就跑進(jìn)書房跟老母親說“麻麻，我想看oxford reading tree”了。今天還沒看，看來無形中已經(jīng)上癮了。牛津樹就是引人入勝的小說，而RAZ感覺更像是一板一眼的教科書和習(xí)題（捂臉……）我是該為娃喜歡牛津樹高興呢還是該為娃可能會(huì)因此討厭RAZ而擔(dān)憂呢……
