美國夏令營第五十一天 - shopping shopping shopping

今天早上游泳課完后，就是買東西，買東西，買東西，無內(nèi)容無照片，明天出發(fā)大瀑布，估計也忙得夠嗆，電腦也不行，無Word，照片編輯，大家見諒啊，回去把電腦整整，多上傳點照片是正事。 

順便提一下今天收到的夏令營老板的一封信，比較郁悶，貼上來給大家看看，當然我也還擊了一下，等會看看他怎么回答的。 

原信：

I was surprised to hear you pulled out of the program early. We had your commitment at several weeks and did not anticipate in our budget that you would leave us with a $900 balance. We do have policies and cancellation fees. In the future, if you commit to a certain period of time, you are bound to that commitment after June 1 or you incur a cancellation fee. Additionally, we offered you a nice discount on those weeks and I personally feel like this was not good business.

 I don't understand why you would say I pulled out earlier. If you read the mail I sent to you on April 30, I told you if everything works fine, I would like let them stay from July 2rd to August 5th. Here I made the mistake because I think August 5th is Friday instead of Sunday.  

 Selina's parents came hear the week of August 6th, so we planned the trip which I mentioned to you a couple of times. In addition, you never mentioned about any early cancellation fee or policy when you gave me the three kids price. When my friend visited you early this June, you did not say any commitment with this discount price.  

Kids had great time there and we planned to come back to this area every summer in the future. If your price would have condition, pls let me know earlier. Tks. Even with the mistake I had about the date, I don't know where the $900 come from?

 Attachment includes the forms I completed already. Shots history will be provided when we are here. They are bilingual so you can read them. The youngest one, Sam, just took annual exam and if you need, I can bring the copy over. The original record is kept in his preschool here in Shanghai. 
  
 I have not used my paypal account for a while and wonder if can pay by credit card or just let my friend send the cash over? How much do I need pay as deposit. 
  
 If everything works fine, I would like sign them for the week from July 2nd to August 5th. Thanks. 

我寧愿相信他是因為數(shù)學比較差而算錯了星期，當時我提早一周告訴老師我們要去旅游也沒有人說什么呀，現(xiàn)在一周過去了，老板倒跳出來寫這么一封信。當初也是有幾個選擇的，選這家因為這個老板特別積極，無論我?guī)c寫信給他，他10分鐘之內(nèi)一定回信的，覺得他很用心做生意的。確定他家后，我還在網(wǎng)上看到他家的Promotion的，每個孩子參加他家夏令營有一周Trial的，就是可呆一周試一下，每個孩子只要90刀每星期，當時還心動了一下，三個孩子270刀，但覺得影響不好，畢竟別人給的Discount也不錯了，這價錢就是他直接給我的，我也不愛講價，反正合適就去，覺得貴就換人家。還好現(xiàn)在summer camp已經(jīng)完了，他倒寫了這么封信討伐我，也不知道怎么做生意的，難道還想從我這拿900刀嗎？本來這里的Camp就是來去自由的，特別是這種一周周pay錢的，很多都是孩子不喜歡了就換，有些整個Summer付錢的可以拿到好價錢。我也是問過他付款方式的，他就說每周一付呀，現(xiàn)在馬后炮還語氣這么重的寫信給我真是很少見和過份的。當然我也不在乎，因為我沒有虧欠他。 

果然10分鐘之內(nèi)他又回信了，語氣好了很多，擺脫查好帳再來好嗎 

Sorry if it is my mistake. I'm glad the kids had a good time. We do hope you come back in the future, as I know they were enjoyed as well. My confusion was that July 2 to August 3 is a five week period. At $450 per week that is a total of $2250. When I was reviewing the books the other day I noted you still had a $900 balance listed and Jaime had said you left earlier than scheduled. Truth is, I don't know the specifics of when you actually departed the program. Additionally, perhaps I shouldn't have considered your commitment binding since you said in your email that you only hoped to attend through August 6. So am I correct in saying you only attended for three weeks? All is well. Yes, I will make sure you are well informed of the policies for next time so there are no confusions. I thought I gave them to you, as I typically include the policy document in the emails I send out to perspectives. 
  
At any rate, we're all set. We'll catch up with you again in the future!

我又回信了，今天和他耗上了 

I paid $450 first thing in the morning every Monday. Totally I paid 5 weeks so far as I planned. I asked a couple of times about receipt and every time Jaime said she would print them out but never. One time, I paid $500 and she did not have any change, so I asked if you would wrote it down and she said it was find she would sent me the receipt tomorrow which she never did. Then I realized maybe for the tax purpose, you would like take cash and without providing any receipt, of course I understood about it, so I never asked for it again. How come I would own you $900 and would still stay there? 

I asked about how to pay and Jaime said I can pay by week which I did. Meantime she said every email I sent to you would transfer to her at the same time when I asked for her email because I would email her something. So I assumed she knew my schedule and I told her about our leaving dat three days earlier, she did not appear any surprise. 

Both of us may learn lessons from this, I hope. But I did stay the five weeks and paid the full price as I committed because kids truly loved this program.
