What can you see on the cover?

你看封面上有什么？

I can see Chip reading a book.

我看到Chip在讀一本書。

What’s the book about?

這是一本什么樣的書呢？

It is a recipe book about making biscuits.

這是一本菜譜，關(guān)于制作餅干的。

What else can you see on the table?

你看桌上還有什么呢？

There is a bag of flour, a jar of sugar, and a box of eggs. 

有一袋面粉，一罐糖，還有一盒雞蛋。

What will Chip do? Let’s get started. 

Chip想要做什么呢？我們來看看。

Dad and Chip decided to make some biscuits.
爸爸和Chip要做一些餅干。

Dad was holding the recipe book.

爸爸拿著菜譜。

Chip checked the ingredients.

Chip檢查了食材。

Oh no! They had run out of sugar.

壞了，他們沒有糖了。

Chip wanted some sugar.

Chip需要一些白糖。

Chip went to the supermarket with Dad.
Chip和爸爸一起去超市。

There were all kinds of goods in the supermarket.

超市里有各種各樣的東西。

We can see a whole shelf of sugar here. 

我們能看到這里有一整個架子的糖。

Did Chip get sugar?

Chip買糖了嗎？

No. Chip got some crisps.

沒有，他買了薯片。

He loved crisps.

Then, he went to the shop.

There were also different kinds of sugar there.

那里也有很多種類的糖。

White sugar, caster sugar, brown sugar, and so on.

Did Chip buy any sugar?

Chip買糖了嗎？

No. He got a comic.

Comic was his favorite book.

Then, Dad and Chip went to the market.

Was there any sugar in the market?

Yes. The bags of sugar were placed on the stall.

Did Chip get any sugar?

Chip買糖了嗎？

No, he didn’t buy any sugar.

What did Chip buy in the market?

他在市場上買了什么？

He got a ball.

他買了一個球。

“It’s time to go back home,” said Dad.

爸爸說：“該回家啦?！?/p>

Dad and Chip went back home.
爸爸和Chip回家了。

Chip started to make biscuits.

Chip 開始做餅干了。

Suddenly, one thing came to his mind.

突然，他想到了一件事。

He forgot the sugar.

他忘記買糖了。

Oh no!

天哪！

What was Dad doing?

爸爸在做什么呢？

Dad was reading Chip’s comic!

他在讀Chip的漫畫呢。

黃豆媽說

這本書里有個小細節(jié)很有趣。Chip忘記買糖，爸爸也忘記提醒他，Chip回家后想起來了，可是爸爸仍然沒有想起來，還沉浸在Chip的漫畫書里，這個爸爸是不是很可愛呢！

特別提醒

1. 每個寶寶的年齡不一樣，基礎(chǔ)不一樣，不需要完全按照以上文本來講。如果孩子感興趣，就多說一點，不感興趣就少說一點，都沒問題。

2. 只要孩子理解，或看圖能明白，或家長可以用肢體語言或者指物的方式讓孩子明白，就不要翻譯。

3. 如果實在不能理解，可以適當解釋，但不需要字對字翻譯。
