分享有意思--Jia Jiang的故事

經(jīng)常聽podcast聽到一些有趣的topic。

今天聽TED Radio Hour聽到一個(gè)還蠻有意思，覺(jué)得可以分享一下。

Ted Talk大家都不陌生，大家可以通過(guò)網(wǎng)站或者app聽talk，也可以訂閱很多不同類型的podcast,如下：

Ted Talk Radio Hour是我常聽的，他會(huì)按照不同的topic把幾個(gè)相關(guān)talk串起來(lái)，同時(shí)會(huì)有演講者的采訪，我覺(jué)得很有意思。Daily也就是每天選一個(gè)。前幾天有一個(gè)是李開復(fù)的talk，沒(méi)看過(guò)他寫的AI那本書也可以聽聽。其他的你可以看到，基本就是分門別類了。

實(shí)際上在TED app上也是可以按照他們分好類的清單來(lái)找到類似主題的演講。

今天我聽了TED Radio Hour的一個(gè)A Better You的話題，發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個(gè)很好玩的演講。

Jia Jiang-What I learned form 100 days of rejection

這位哥哥曾經(jīng)是一位充滿激情和夢(mèng)想的少年，曾經(jīng)年少時(shí)發(fā)誓要成為比爾蓋茨一樣的企業(yè)家，在25歲時(shí)創(chuàng)立一間能夠買下微軟的公司！他真不是編的，因?yàn)樗懔诵r(shí)候的文章LOL

接著他去了比爾蓋茨的國(guó)家，不知不覺(jué)活到三十歲，在五百?gòu)?qiáng)公司干得不瘟不火，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)自己離夢(mèng)想越來(lái)越遠(yuǎn)，想要改變卻始終無(wú)法突破心中的障礙。他很怕被拒絕，總覺(jué)得缺乏勇氣。他決定要突破自我。于是他開始了一個(gè)叫100 days of rejection的計(jì)劃。他把每一次的經(jīng)歷錄下來(lái)放在油管上，不知不覺(jué)中就火了。

Jia第一個(gè)任務(wù)是找陌生人借100塊錢，他走過(guò)去問(wèn)，請(qǐng)問(wèn)你能借我100塊嗎？那個(gè)人說(shuō)No!Why?然后他便狼狽逃跑了。

他想象著自己堅(jiān)持下來(lái)，然后對(duì)各種拒絕免疫。事實(shí)確實(shí)是這樣，拒絕多了也就刀槍不入了。但他發(fā)現(xiàn)，其實(shí)若是有更多的溝通他會(huì)出乎意料地不被拒絕。

比如他跑到賣donuts的店里要求買一個(gè)拼成奧運(yùn)五環(huán)的donuts，結(jié)果人家真的給他做了一個(gè)！比如有個(gè)網(wǎng)友請(qǐng)他挑戰(zhàn)去麥當(dāng)勞買早餐的產(chǎn)品，說(shuō)一定會(huì)被拒絕的，誰(shuí)知道后來(lái)真的買到了一個(gè)低配版本的早餐，并沒(méi)有完全被拒絕。有一次他拿著一棵花，挑戰(zhàn)去陌生人家要求把花種在人家院子里。他一開始被拒絕，但并沒(méi)有掉頭就走，經(jīng)過(guò)后面的溝通，這家人向他說(shuō)明了原因還建議他去另一個(gè)愛(ài)花的鄰居家試試，于是又成功了。這些經(jīng)歷完全改變了他。

有一些挑戰(zhàn)很有意思，好多都沒(méi)有被拒絕。比如在飛機(jī)上要求自己去播飛機(jī)通告。比如在街上讓陌生人給自己的外貌打分。去大學(xué)求教授讓自己去上一堂課。當(dāng)然有一些也還挺無(wú)聊的。

這個(gè)演講其實(shí)已經(jīng)過(guò)去幾年了，后來(lái)他因?yàn)檫@個(gè)項(xiàng)目走上了專業(yè)幫助人家克服被拒絕障礙的道路，出了書，做了課程，網(wǎng)站，app，游戲。總算變成了一個(gè)成功人士，也算實(shí)現(xiàn)自己夢(mèng)想了吧。
