Hello, everyone. Welcome back to read with Susan. Today we're gonna read Look After me. Hey, Susan! What does Look after me mean? Well, Look after me means to take care of you. For example, when you're a baby, you can only cry and you can only lie in bed. You need someone to take care of you. When you're hungry, your Mum feeds you. When you wanna go pee pee or go poop poop, your Mum needs to help you too. OK, so Look after means someone comes to take care of you. Look, here we have a little girl. How old do you think she is? Maybe three or five years old? I'm not sure. And then here is Biff, Chip and Wilma. They are older kids. They're bigger. So they come here to Look after the little girl. Can you do it monkey? No, I need somebody to Look after me. Yeah, you are tiny, too. So let's find out what happened.

Look, where are they? I think they're um, they're in a fun fair. Do you think so? Um, this is Kate. She is Kate. She is a very little girl.

And then, wow, OK, here's an elephant. Do you know where they are? Yes, they are in the zoo. And what is Kate doing here? Oh, Kate is climbing up, climb, climb, climb. OK, she went up the net, this is the net. Hey, everybody, can you go up the net? Yes, I can go up the net. And then Kate says, I like this, she said. Wow, she is so happy. Look, she's coming up. Oh, wait a minute, do you think they are having fun? No, they look worried. Oh, worried, why? I know, because, hey Kate, be careful. You might fall down. So they're worried about Kate's safety.

What do you see here? Wow, so many balls. I wanna go in there. Hey, calm down, monkey! I know you love it. Everybody, do you know what this is? This is called a ball pit, ball pit. I love ball pit, it's so much fun. I like jumping into it, splish splash, and so much fun.  
OK, Look, this is Kate. And after Kate climbed up the net, she can go down the slide. Do you love playing the slide? Yes, I love the slide. And then she is having fun, she is skiing go into the balls. That's so happy.  
Do you think they're having fun? No, they still look worried. Um, what are they  worried about? So much fun. Oh, yes. But when you're having fun, you have to be careful too. Because if you're going down too fast, boom, you might hurt yourself. So, well, sometimes you need to be careful even when you're having fun.  

  
Page 6-7：OK, wow, so I see the space. Here we have many, many stars. And this one is the sun. And this one is the moon. Oh, this is a space shuttle, it's a space shuttle. And then, this girl, Kate is climbing up the ladder. She's trying to go inside. So she went up the ladder. I like this, she said. Wow, Kate is so happy, but do you think they are happy? They still look worried. That's right. What are they worried about? Monkey, do you know it? They are worried that she might fall down.So be careful, Kate.  

  
Page 8：Finally, after a whole day at the fun fair, there she is, Kate is sleeping in the pram so soundly. We like this, said Biff. Ah, Look, they're so happy that Kate is sleeping. Why? Why are they so happy? Monkey, do you know it? Um, I don't know, because they have finally fun there. Well, do you think so, everyone? No, actually, it's because, Look, they were tired Looking after Kate. And Kate was so energetic running here and there. And finally Kate is sleeping, so they don't need to be worried anymore.

Ask and answer

1, (P1) So where are they? At the fun fair.  

2, (P2-3) Oh, what's this? It's a net.

3, (P4-5) What's this? It's a ball pit.       

4, (P6-7) What's this? Um, it's the moon. And what's this? It's a ladder.

5, (P8) Now what's the girl doing? The girl is sleeping.

What a fun day they had, I think they enjoyed looking after Kate, maybe. But now I want to go to the fun fair.
