這段時(shí)間，孩子開始了第二部章節(jié)書《My Weird School》的裸聽，網(wǎng)上關(guān)于這個(gè)系列書的介紹有一些，但都不太深入、全面。比如，這部書有多少套系？出版了的音頻的有哪幾本？我從網(wǎng)上搜集了一些信息，總結(jié)整理為以下4個(gè)方面：

1 概述及已經(jīng)出版的套系

《My Weird School》是由Dan Gutman撰寫的一部風(fēng)趣幽默的初級(jí)章節(jié)書，Jim Paillot為其畫了生動(dòng)的插圖。其藍(lán)思指數(shù)為470L-700L。

這部書的故事發(fā)生在一所老師們性格獨(dú)特的學(xué)校中，每一本書都以一位特定的老師為核心展開。主人公A.J.是一個(gè)討厭上學(xué)的男孩。他在學(xué)校的對(duì)手是一個(gè)名叫Andrea的對(duì)學(xué)校充滿熱愛的女生，而她的朋友Emily在A.J.眼中卻是個(gè)“愛哭鬼”。 故事中的幽默元素主要來自那些出人意料的情節(jié)設(shè)置以及老師們獨(dú)特的性格。

Dan Gutman的靈感來源于Barbara Park 的《Junie B. Jones》 系列，該系列激發(fā)了他想要從一個(gè)男孩的視角創(chuàng)作類似作品的念頭。在為成年人寫作了15年之后， Dan開始轉(zhuǎn)向兒童作品的寫作。他希望他的作品能夠激發(fā)孩子們對(duì)閱讀的興趣，特別是讓那些在學(xué)習(xí)上遇到困難的孩子也能發(fā)現(xiàn)閱讀的樂趣。

2 選擇它作為第二部章節(jié)書的原因

首先，是難度適中。這部書要比我們看的第一部初章書《dragon masters》要難一些。從藍(lán)思值上看，這部書要比《Magic tree house》略難一些。但是，實(shí)際讀起來，我卻覺得似乎這部書要簡單一些。另外，這部書的插圖比《dragon masters》要少?！禿ragon masters》中每一頁都有插圖，而這套書里每4頁才能有一個(gè)小插圖。所以，這套書的插圖對(duì)文字理解的幫助不大。

其次，是這套書非常有趣，鑫寶很喜歡這一系列故事。作者的語言搞笑幽默；視角與孩子共情，而沒有高高在上的說教：文中的主人公A.J.嘴上說不喜歡學(xué)校，也不喜歡閱讀。他并不是傳統(tǒng)意義上的乖學(xué)生，更像是每個(gè)孩子心里都住著的那個(gè)“皮小子”，作者通過故事潤物細(xì)無聲的鼓勵(lì)他的小讀者們從內(nèi)心認(rèn)同學(xué)習(xí)的價(jià)值；這套書中的故事出人意料，但是又在情理之中，充滿想象力的無厘頭的故事讓孩子看的很興奮、很過癮。

比如說，在第一本《Miss Daisy is crazy!》里，主人公的二年級(jí)的老師Miss Daisy就是一個(gè)奇怪的人，她與A.J.一樣討厭學(xué)校，而且非常喜歡吃夾心軟糖。Miss Daisy的算術(shù)奇差，也不會(huì)閱讀，學(xué)生們都很好奇她是怎么當(dāng)上老師的？正因?yàn)镸iss Daisy什么都不會(huì)，很多問題都要她的學(xué)生們自己來研究解答。同學(xué)Ryan提到他爸爸所工作的公司收購其他公司的時(shí)候就如自己去買一塊糖果那么容易。同學(xué)Michael Robinson提出一個(gè)天才的想法，就是把學(xué)校購買下來，那么大家都不用上學(xué)了。于是，這群小學(xué)生密謀著把學(xué)校買下來并改裝成電子游戲室，他們能成功么？在這里我就賣個(gè)關(guān)子，不再劇透了。

3 不同的聲音

關(guān)于這部書，除了好評(píng)外，還有一些不同的聲音。

第一個(gè)不同的聲音，來自于我們家的親身經(jīng)歷，鑫寶從這部書里學(xué)會(huì)了說別人是dumbhead （笨蛋）。這句話在書中同學(xué)間打嘴仗時(shí)，反復(fù)出現(xiàn)。 鑫寶很快就學(xué)會(huì)了，現(xiàn)在對(duì)我、小朋友及老師有時(shí)就會(huì)說這個(gè)詞。

另一個(gè)是書中臉譜化的描述男生、女生群體。比如，當(dāng)老師問學(xué)生們是否準(zhǔn)備好學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)，所有女生會(huì)異口同聲的說“是”，所有男生則會(huì)異口同聲的喊“不是”。書中有時(shí)也會(huì)傾向于把“男孩做的事情”（比如，運(yùn)動(dòng)等）描述成是酷炫的，而把“女孩做的事情”或是“擅長學(xué)業(yè)的事情”描述成是不那么炫酷的。

另外，我還遇到過并不喜歡這種特意夸張、搞笑風(fēng)格故事的一年級(jí)的孩子。所以，只能說蘿卜白菜各有所愛吧。
