They dressed up like the people in the old days. 他們打扮成古時候的人。Who was this old lady? Was she mum? No, dad was the old lady. 爸爸穿上了長裙子，涂上紅嘴唇，還帶著滿頭小卷的假發(fā)，扮成一個老婦人。What were they going to do?

The giant shoe looked good. Wilf sat on the shoe, the other children were in the shoe. Kipper在鞋子里，都被擠扁了。Dad, I mean, the old lady walked after the shoe. 爸爸扮起老婦人來，還真像。Wheredid they go? They took it to the carnival. 他們把大鞋子帶到了嘉年華會，原來他們是去參加嘉年華會的游行啊。大鞋子就是他們坐的花車，爸爸和孩子們是演員，他們演的是什么呢？Lookatthebluewords on the trailer. What did they say? There was an old lady who lived in the shoe. 你聽說過這首童謠嗎，說的是有一個老婦人住在鞋子里。She had so many children, she didn’t know what to do. 他生了太多孩子，不知道該怎么辦才好，你看爸爸手上拿了一個湯勺。童謠里還說，老婦人只給他們喝湯不給他們吃面包，晚上睡覺之前還要打他們的小屁屁。Poor children.

What did they look at? 大家都朝那邊看，他們看什么呢。The car broke down. 是負(fù)責(zé)拖大鞋子的藍(lán)色汽車拋錨了。”O(jiān)h no !” everyone said. What do you think the people on the cake were shouting? 他們肯定使勁摁喇叭，”Get out of the way!” 快讓開，別擋路，可是這車看起來一時半會修不好了，看來得退出Carnival了。The children must be sad.

孩子們一邊走一邊大聲的朗誦那首英文童謠。There was an old lady. She lived in the shoe. 漸漸地，觀眾們也跟著朗誦起來。突然，一個孩子從人群中走了出來，幫著推大鞋子，然后是兩個三個四個，不一會，鞋子后面跟了一群陌生人，他們都來幫孩子們推大鞋子，大家繼續(xù)朗誦童謠。She had so many children. And more and more. 大家齊心協(xié)力把大鞋子推到了終點。一位帶著大金鏈子的叔叔和一位戴帽子的阿姨站在了終點線上。What were they doing? 你看到終點線上的橫幅了嗎。綠色的字寫著”best float competition ”——最佳花車比賽。”float”就是游行花車的意思。他們倆是嘉年華會的評委，在認(rèn)真的觀察著每一輛花車，負(fù)責(zé)選出最佳花車。

Guess who win the best float competition? The children! Kipper was holding the cup. They win the best float competition. 原來的童謠說，老婦人不給孩子們吃面包，還打他的小屁屁?，F(xiàn)在我們要改一下童謠了——itwasa good job, too. 孩子們遇到困難，不埋怨、不放棄、齊心協(xié)力解決問題，這一路上還贏得了支持和鼓勵，為大家送去了歡樂。What a good job!
