They dressed up like the people in the old days. 他們打扮成古時候的人。Who was this old lady? Was she mum? No, dad was the old lady. 爸爸穿上了長裙子,涂上紅嘴唇,還帶著滿頭小卷的假發(fā),扮成一個老婦人。What were they going to do?

The giant shoe looked good. Wilf sat on the shoe, the other children were in the shoe. Kipper在鞋子里,都被擠扁了。Dad, I mean, the old lady walked after the shoe. 爸爸扮起老婦人來,還真像。Wheredid they go? 孩子們一邊走一邊大聲的朗誦那首英文童謠。There was an old lady. She lived in the shoe. 漸漸地,觀眾們也跟著朗誦起來。突然,一個孩子從人群中走了出來,幫著推大鞋子,然后是兩個三個四個,不一會,鞋子后面跟了一群陌生人,他們都來幫孩子們推大鞋子,大家繼續(xù)朗誦童謠。She had so many children. And more and more. 大家齊心協(xié)力把大鞋子推到了終點。一位帶著大金鏈子的叔叔和一位戴帽子的阿姨站在了終點線上。What were they doing? 你看到終點線上的橫幅了嗎。綠色的字寫著”best float competition ”——最佳花車比賽。”float”就是游行花車的意思。他們倆是嘉年華會的評委,在認(rèn)真的觀察著每一輛花車,負(fù)責(zé)選出最佳花車。
