2020年-年終小結(jié)-英語篇

不知不覺一年過去了，這一年真的是魔幻現(xiàn)實主義的一年，今年最大的收獲是英語了，不是上一個臺階，而是幾個臺階。疫情期間，看完了全套哈利波特，兩套貓武士，其他亂七八糟的初章囤貨，反正幾十本起碼吧。三月開始跟著老師上英語作文，上完了GW3 現(xiàn)在開始GW4和RE4穿插上，節(jié)奏是一周一次，因為之前每周上寫作虐的很。

英語的AR從三月6.5到半年后飆升到11+，更主要的是寫作的水平突飛猛進，連著兩次文章被《上海學生英文報》發(fā)表還拿到了稿費。最有意義的是利用業(yè)余時間為自閉癥兒童翻譯繪本《來自星星的我們》。成為了注冊志愿者。 
 

我很高興看到小妞的進步，用她最近發(fā)表的《十年后的我》來做結(jié)尾吧。

Dear Ziying,

I’m the Ziying Gao when you were ten. I know it might sounds confusing, but don’t worry. I will tell you your special experience.

Ten years ago, when I wrote this letter, a global pandemic swept over the world with tremendous force. 34 million people worldwide had been diagnosed with coronavirus. The number of people who lost their lives as a result had climbed to 1 million. In China, some post-00s generation medical staff, as young as you, went to the epicenter of the outbreak. Facing the threat of infection, they left their families and risked their lives with glory to engage in a dangerous work --saving others’ lives. The young, in their twenties, had created countless warm scenes and those of grief. Liu Jiayi, a 20-year-old member of medical team, stated that she won’t be a child when protective suits were put on. President Xi highly praised them for their jumping through the tiniest hoops and showing vigorous power of youth.

When this letter is unsealed, you’re exactly as old as them and ready to serve your country. The passed pandemic has probably faded from your memory with ages. I write to awaken you with the famous remarks, “Our responsibility today lies in no one else but solely in the youth of China”. Now it’s time for you to work hard to make contributions to the great rejuvenation of our nation.
