A baby cow is called a calf. It drinks milk from its mother.

Baby chickens are called chicks. Chicks peck and scratch the ground for insects and seeds to eat.

A baby sheep is called a lamb. Sheep provide us meat, milk, wool and skin.

A baby horse is called a foal.  A foal has large eyes, it can help him see very well. It has a good sense of smell too. A foal can pick out its mother by her smell.

A baby goose is calleda gosling. New born goslings have tiny feathers that are soft and fluffy. We call these feathers down.

A baby goat is called a kid. When kids play, they butt each other with their heads.

A baby pig is called a piglet. It drinks its mother's milk and grows fast.

A baby turkey is called a  poult. A poult does  not look like its parents. It looks like a big chick.
