Do you know what a baby-sitter is？
你知道什么是baby-sitter嗎？
A baby-sitter is a person who takes care of babies while their parents are busy.
Baby-sitter就是幫助爸爸媽媽有事的時候照看寶寶的人。

你看到封面上有什么呢？
I can see Kipper and a man.
我看到Kipper和一個男生。
Is the man a baby-sitter? Let’s see.
這個人是保姆嗎？我們一起去看看。
One day, Mum and Dad were going to a party.
一天，爸爸媽媽要去參加一個派對。
They had no time to look after the children.
他們沒有時間來照顧孩子們。
They turned to a baby-sitter.
他們找了一個保姆來照看孩子。
The baby-sitter came.
保姆來啦。
Did the children like this baby-sitter？
孩子們喜歡這個保姆嗎？
Dad put on the coat for Mum.
爸爸幫媽媽穿上外套。
“Go back to bed,” said Dad.
“上床睡覺孩子們，”爸爸說。
The children ran upstairs.
孩子們跑回了樓上。
Mum and Dad left home.
爸爸媽媽離開了家。
What was the baby-sitter doing？
保姆在做什么呢？
He was reading a book in the chair.
他正坐在椅子上看書。
The children came downstairs.
孩子們下樓了。
“We couldn’t sleep,” they said.
“我們睡不著，”孩子們說。
What did they want to do？
他們想做什么呢？
They started to play in the living room.
他們在客廳開始玩起來。
Kipper got his books.
Kipper拿出他的書。
He wanted a story.
他想聽一個故事。
Biff was reading her book.
Biff在讀她的書。
Chip wanted to watch TV.
Chip想要看電視。
Biff was hungry.
Biff感到餓了。
They made a sandwich.
他們做了一個三明治。
They used bread, stewed apples, strawberry jam and cucumber to make a super big sandwich.

The baby-sitter was cooking too.
保姆也在做飯。
Oh！The milk was boiling over！

After eating，the children went to play again.

Chip wanted a pillow fight.
Chip想要玩枕頭大戰(zhàn)。
Everyone joined in.

They were playing happily.
大家玩的非常開心。
Finally, the children went back to bed.
最后，孩子們回去睡覺了。
The baby-sitter was very tired.
臨時保姆也非常地累。
“What a mess!” said the baby-sitter.
“真是亂的一團糟！”臨時保姆說。
The books and the cottons of the pillow were everywhere.
書和枕頭里的棉花團散落的到處都是。
Mum and Dad came back.
爸爸媽媽回來了。
“Was everyone good?” said Mum.
“大家都還好嗎？”媽媽問道。

“Yes and no,” said the baby-sitter.

（難度略大，適合4歲以上寶寶～）
特別提醒
1. 每個寶寶的年齡不一樣，基礎(chǔ)不一樣，不需要完全按照以上文本來講。如果孩子感興趣，就多說一點，不感興趣就少說一點，都沒問題。
2. 只要孩子理解，或看圖能明白，或家長可以用肢體語言或者指物的方式讓孩子明白，就不要翻譯。
3. 如果實在不能理解，可以適當解釋，但不需要字對字翻譯。
