Today let’s read this book. Look at the cover page. This book is called ‘Is It?’ 現(xiàn)在我們來讀這本書. 看下封面，這本書叫做'Is It?'

What can you see on the cover?在封面上能看到什么呢？

Yeah, there is a big box. The children are looking at the things in the box.. 是的，有一個大箱子。孩子們在看箱子里的東西。

What is in the box? Can you guess?箱子里有什么東西呢？你能猜猜看嗎？
 

Kipper finds a wig. What color is the wig? Yes, it’s red.Kipper找到了一頂假發(fā)。假發(fā)是什么顏色的呢？是紅色的。

Chip and Biff are holding something blue. Chip和Biff拿著一個藍(lán)色的東西。

Do you know what it is? Hmm..I’m not sure. 你知道那是什么嗎？我也不太確定。

What else can you see in the box? Yeah, a black hat. 你還能看到箱子里有什么呢？是一頂黑色的帽子。

And here is a red little ball. 還有一個紅色的小球。

So what are they going to do with these things? Let’s see.那他們這是要做什么呢？我們一起看看吧。

Look at page1. Is it Kipper?看一下第一頁，Is it Kipper?
 

Oh, I see a kid. He is on the swing. 我看到一個小孩子。他在秋千上。

But he is not playing the swing like you. 但是他不像你那樣蕩秋千。

He is hanging to the swing upside down. 他正倒掛在秋千上。
 

Mom and Dad are watching him. 爸爸和媽媽正在看著他。

The neighbor and his dog are also looking at him.鄰居和鄰居家的狗也在看著這個小孩子。
 

So who is it? Is it Kipper? 那這是誰呢？會是Kipper嗎？

How do you know? Because he has fair hair. 你怎么知道的呢？因為他有金色的頭發(fā)。

Look at page 2 and 3  It is Kipper. Is it Biff?看第二頁和第三頁。It is Kipper. Is it Biff?

Yes, it is Kipper. He looks strange. What is he wearing? 

是的，是Kipper. 他看起來有點奇怪。他穿著什么衣服呢？

He is wearing a pointed cap. 他戴著一頂尖尖的帽子。

How many balls are there on the cap? Let’s count. 帽子上有幾個球球呢？我們來數(shù)一數(shù)吧。

One, two, three, four. There are four red balls on the cap. 一二三四。帽子上一共有4個球球。

And there is a Ruff collar around his neck. 脖子上還有一個拉夫領(lǐng)子。

He is wearing a blue and white stripped costume. 他穿著藍(lán)白相間的條紋的衣服。
 

So where does Kipper get these clothes? 那Kipper的衣服是從哪里來的呢？

Yes, he gets them from the box. Mom and Dad are clapping for him.是的，他是從箱子里哪來的。爸爸媽媽在為他鼓掌。

Who is next? Oh, it looks like a clown. We can see clowns in a circus. 接下來是誰呢？噢，這個看起來像一個小丑。我們可以在馬戲團(tuán)見到小丑。
 

A clown has big red nose and wears clown suits. 小丑戴著紅鼻子，穿著小丑的衣服。
 

A clown also wears a wig and a hat.小丑還會戴假發(fā)和帽子。
 

The kid is wearing a black hat, a colorful coat and purple pants. 這個小孩子戴著一頂黑色的帽子，穿著五顏六色的衣服和紫色的褲子。

Oh, look. What big shoes she is wearing!快看，她穿的鞋子好大呀！
 

The kid is doing a handstand and waving. 這個小孩子一邊做著倒立，一邊揮手。
 

She is so cool. But who is it? Is it Biff? 她很酷。那她是誰呢？是Biff嗎？

Look at page 4 and 5. It is Biff. Is it Chip?看第四頁和第五頁。It is Biff. Is it Chip?

Yeah, it it Biff. She takes off the hat and the red nose. She makes a bow.是Biff。她摘掉了帽子，把紅鼻子拿下來。她鞠了個躬。
 

Who’s next? He has big red hair. He’s also doing a handstand. 接下來是誰呢？他有紅色的頭發(fā)。他也在做倒立。

He is wearing a blue and white stripped shirt and green pants. 他穿著藍(lán)白相間的條紋的T恤和綠色的褲子。
 

But we can’t see his face. Do you know who he is? Is it Chip?但是我們看不到他的臉。你知道他是誰嗎？是Chip嗎？

Look at page 6 and 7. It is Chip. Is it Floppy?看第六頁和第七頁。It is Chip. Is it Floppy?

That’s right. It is Chip. And it’s a red wig.對了，是Chip。那是一頂紅色的假發(fā)。

Who’s next? I see a blue cloak. Is it a witch or a magician? 接下來是誰呢？我看到一個藍(lán)色的斗篷。這是個女巫或者是魔法師嗎？

And I see some fair hair. There are two hands holding him. 我還看到了一些金色的毛發(fā)。還有兩只手在拉著他。

Look, what is up? Is it Floppy? 看，是什么翹起來了？這個會是Floppy嗎？

Look at page 8.Yes. It is Floppy!看第八頁。Yes. It is Floppy!

Yeah. It’s Floppy. The family is clapping for Floppy.是的，是Floppy。一家人都在為他鼓掌。
 

練習(xí)資源

下面是牛津樹主干部分涉及到的人物圖片，可以打印出來塑封后，配合精讀一起使用，趣味性更強，小朋友更愿意去學(xué)習(xí)。
 

寫在后面

英語啟蒙一定要盡可能早地開始，爭取讓小朋友的英語水平和年齡認(rèn)知處于同一水平，這樣小朋友才不會對英語學(xué)習(xí)產(chǎn)生排斥，興趣是最好的老師，小朋友喜歡學(xué)了，自然就會越來越好了。
英讀物精講注意事項
1.上面是英文版的講解示范，僅供大家參考。

2.家長在進(jìn)行精講的時候，不一定要嚴(yán)格按照下面的示范來進(jìn)行，而是要根據(jù)小朋友的英語啟蒙能力(目前的英語理解能力和輸出能力)以及興趣等實際情況來進(jìn)行調(diào)整。因為面對同一個問題，不同的小朋友有不同的回答，所以要根據(jù)小朋友的情況去做出適當(dāng)?shù)恼{(diào)整，增加或者是刪除都可以，以便更好地進(jìn)行英語啟蒙。

3.英語精讀過程中所要提問的問題都是離不開以下幾個要素的who/what/

where/when/why/how/which，可以根據(jù)英文讀物的內(nèi)容來進(jìn)行適當(dāng)發(fā)揮。

4.在精讀過程中要注意用手去指著正在進(jìn)行的那部分畫面，小朋友更容易理解精讀的內(nèi)容，語速不要太快，避免小朋友反應(yīng)不過來。只要小朋友理解能聽懂，或者是看圖能明白，或者家長運用tpr教學(xué)的方式（名詞指著說，動詞做動作）能夠讓小朋友明白，就不需要翻譯成中文。

5.不要過于追求輸出、不強迫跟讀，如果小朋友能聽懂但是不喜歡回答，那就不要求回答，家長做好精講輸入就可以了。
