Chip很愛做手工呢，這次他做了一個機器人，他是怎么做的呢？

Today let’s read Chip’s Robot.
今天我們來讀《Chip的機器人》。

Chip is sitting in front of his desk.

Chip正坐在書桌前。

What can you see on his desk?

你看到他桌子上有什么？

 I can see two small robots, a lamp, a book about robots, and some materials.

我看到兩個小的機器人，一個臺燈，一個關(guān)于機器人的書，還有一些材料。 

What does Chip have in his hands?

Chip手里拿著什么？

 He’s holding a comb in his left hand, and a box in his right hand.

他的左手拿著一個梳子，右手拿著一個盒子。

 Will he be able to make a robot? Let’s see.

他能做出來一個機器人嗎？我們來看一下。

Chip had a big box.

Chip有個大盒子。

There are some small boxes in it.

大盒子里裝了一些小盒子。

He is going to make a robot.

他要做一個機器人。

Wilma, Wilf, Biff and Floppy are looking at him.

Wilma，Wilf，Biff和Floppy正在看他。

Chip is dumping everything out of the big box.

Chip把盒子里的東西都倒出來。

 “This is my robot,” he said.

他說：“這是我的機器人?！?                                                                 

“Can you see it?”

“你們能看到嗎？”

Well, I don’t think they can see the robot.

嗯，我覺得他們看不到。

“This is a leg,” said Chip.

Chip說：“這是機器人的腿?！?/p>

He is gluing a paper tube onto the box.

他正在將一個紙管粘到盒子上。

“Can you see the robot?”

“你們能看到機器人嗎？”

The other three children are staring at the boxes and thinking.

另外三個小朋友正盯著盒子，在思考。

They still cannot see the robot.

他們還是沒有看到機器人。

“This is an arm,” said Chip.

Chip說：“這個是胳膊?！?/p>

He is gluing the arm onto the big box.

他正在把胳膊粘到盒子上。

“Can you see my robot?”

你能看到我的機器人嗎？

Well, they are trying, but still cannot see the robot.

大家在盡力地看，但還是看不出來。

“Can you see it, yet?” said Chip.

Chip說：“現(xiàn)在能看到了嗎？”

He has glued the arms and legs onto the body.

他把胳膊和腿都粘到身體上。

“No,” said Biff.

Biff說：“不能。”

They still cannot see the robot.

大家還是沒看出來。

“This is the head,” said Chip.

Chip說：“這是頭。”

“Now can you see my robot?”

“現(xiàn)在能看到我的機器人了嗎？”

Ah, the children started to smile.

啊，小朋友們露出了笑容。

I think they can see the robot.

我覺得他們應(yīng)該看到了。

“We can see it now.” said Biff.
Biff說：“我們現(xiàn)在看到啦?！?/p>

It is a very nice robot.

是個很棒的機器人呢。

Well done, Chip.

真不錯呢，Chip。

Everyone is very happy to see the robot.

大家看到機器人都很開心。

特別提醒

1. 每個寶寶的年齡不一樣，基礎(chǔ)不一樣，不需要完全按照以上文本來講。如果孩子感興趣，就多說一點，不感興趣就少說一點，都沒問題。

2. 只要孩子理解，或看圖能明白，或家長可以用肢體語言或者指物的方式讓孩子明白，就不要翻譯。

3. 如果實在不能理解，可以適當(dāng)解釋，但不需要字對字翻譯。
