英語寫作--句式進階（從短句到長句）

說到句式

對于這一點，娃算是花樣精蠻多的。目前線上的老師很鼓勵，夸他句子結構寫得好。我也是奔著鼓勵態(tài)度的，鼓勵他做句子的聯(lián)合或者插入更多細節(jié)。

有的時候會一起玩句子擴展，就像《Write a Super Sentence》一書里這樣。

拋給他最簡單的句子，比如，A dog runs. 

1. 加入對dog的描述，用5個，

包括形容詞，如plump and cunning

包括介詞短語，如with a hat on its head

包括定語從句，如that won the race last year

包括插入語, 如a pooddle named Shaggy Tony,

包括分詞短語，如rescued from the forest by Kate, 

2.加入對run的描述，

包括副詞，如quickly，

包括word choice把run換成更好的詞，如dash，

包括介詞短語比如with me，

包括使用修辭比如as fast as lightning 或like。

3. 加入時間

時間包括介詞短語, 如in the morning 

包括when/as/while引導的句子， 如while I was doing homework,

包括before或after引導的句子或短語，如after it finished its lunch, 

包括until或till引導的句子, until it was so tired that it couldn't run anymore.

4. 加入地點

包括介詞短語in, through, from to, between, over,

包括where引導的句子，如where it was hit by a naughty kid

5. 加入其他組分，

比如because,for引導的原因，

比如so, therefore引導的結果，

比如and, but

比如unless，if之類。

6. 然后討論除了讓subject 在開頭，能不能把其他句子成分放在最前面，帶來前后文句式的變化。

但是學校里老師雖說沒講這樣做不好，可是給的分卻不高。談及句子，她說現(xiàn)在一年級是期望他們把，I can run. I like strawberries這樣的句子寫好...

個人感覺，新二的學習對于長句子寫作是有幫助的。另外就是4000詞，沒想到吧，因為釋義通常就是各種定狀補語從句。

（但另一方面我又覺得其實一年前的現(xiàn)在，剛開始寫的時候，他其實也用很多長句子...）

這篇是兩周前的一個故事。

Ice Age 2019/1/25 

要求 

Write 5 sentences about the Ice Age. Be careful that don't use run on sentences. 

這是1月份的一篇，因為限制句子數(shù)量，所以有意識的用了長句子。括號里是老師改的

Do you know about the ice age (Ice Age)?It was when a climate change caused the planet to cool so animals had to adapt with it. For example, smilodon (Smilodon) had to adapt tougher teeth to catch large prey. Another one was the wooly mammoth that had to adapt to the weather by growing thick hair to protect it from the cold. Why did the animals die out? Some scientists think that people killed too many of them, but other scientists think that a sudden climate change made them die. There was also an ice age (Ice Age) called little ice age that caused large famines across the land because the crops were ruined by the ice.
